Dr. M Ravichandran is the Secretary of the MoES, New Delhi. He was the Director of NCPOR, Goa (2016-2021). He has worked as a scientist at IITM in atmospheric sciences, NIOT in ocean observing systems (marine meteorology), and INCOIS in the ocean observing system and ocean modelling. His research interests include atmospheric physics and ocean dynamics, marine meteorology and air-sea interaction, ocean observing systems, and ocean modelling.
